Meet the Founder
Mr. Furkan Solak was born in Istanbul on July 1997. In 2018, he graduated with an associate’s degree from Ufuk University’s Faculty of Vocational School of Health Services, Department of Electroneurophysiology.
Mr. Solak completed his internship at Trakya University Medicine Faculty Hospital between the months of June and August of 2016. As an EEG-EMG-Video EEG Technician in Neurology, he worked under the supervision of doctors and neurologists. He was a trained medical professional who used specialised equipment to detect brain abnormalities and to operate electroencephalographs, which measure and record the electrical activity of brain waves via electrodes attached to the patient’s scalp.
Mr. Solak completed another internship as an intern technician at Gulhane Military Medical Academy Hospital in 2017. He was in charge of technical and patient care aspects of polysomnographic and electro-diagnostic testing. PSG and EEG testing included setting up and calibrating monitoring equipment, using appropriate electrodes, monitoring patient safety, performing physiological calibration, verifying patient manoeuvres, and keeping records.
Between 2018 and 2019, he worked as an operating room technician for Acs Grup (Biomed) Medikal Cihazlar Ltd.Sti. He’d been helping out before, during, and after surgeries, under the supervision of doctors or nurses.
Mr. Solak was present during surgeries from start to finish to ensure safety and efficiency.
He worked as an Electroneurophysiology Technician from February 2019 to February 2021. He was required to perform electroencephalography, simple nerve conduction studies (EM), brain stem and visual evoked potential analysis, and the use of polysomnography devices. Mr. Solak used these tests as an electroencephalographic (EEG) technician to monitor patients during their sleep cycles. He also conducted pre-test consultations and took a medical history from the patient.
Mr. Solak completed several certificates and training programmes to enhance his professional skills and competence in the medical and surgical equipment sector, including the UBIDER (Sleep Science Association)Applied Polysomnography Course, the Sleep Technologist Certificate Program, Basic FirstAid and Effective Communication Techniques for Sleep Experts, and the Medical Representative Specialist Training Program.

He maintained close, one-on-one working relationships with both suppliers and customers, forming long-term alliances based on a keen understanding of the challenges and opportunities of local markets in various regions.
